The International Girls in STEM Camp program is part of a partnership with American Councils, Washington DC. Each summer, international students are selected through a rigorous process conducted by local, international educators and American Councils. Challenger Colorado is proud to host these students along with local counterparts, who have applied and been interviewed, to be a part of this prestigious program here in Colorado Springs.
Challenger Colorado works with select local high schools to identify students who are STEM-focused and interested in a unique opportunity to collaborate with fellow, likeminded students.

This year's camp will feature Arduino programming, aeronautics, astronomy, and aerospace.
Students will need to bring a lunch each day and should dress for the weather as some activities will be conducted outdoors.
Students will travel to several local destinations to extend the STEM immersion process during the week of camp. This travel will be conducted during camp hours.
There will be several opportunities for the students to interact outside of camp hours. Some will be structured and others may develop organically and be on student's free time.
